@unclesara I’m talking about 1/16 of an ounce. most tire shops do to 1/4 or to an 1/8 of an ounce while the tire is moving. and you’re not gonna get tires for under 2000 for a car like this. it’s a specialized size that isn’t easily found, nuff said

I wouldn’t trust Wal-mart with a used piece of toilet paper. I work for Beechcraft and bizjet tires still dont cost over $2k. Mounting is done with care, but takes no measurement. I dont know what you are talking about with “1/16th of balance” that makes no sense. Balancing is usually in terms of weight and moment arm. Any tire shop monkey knows this.

yeah becasue somebody so cultured as to have the word ‘nigga’ in their name has owned many Ferraris and Lambos and has the experience and integrity to make such a bold statement.

@FERRARI1496 exactly, it’s just grippy. hardly slides. that’s why RWD drifts and AWD kinda slides
#15 by FERRARI1496 on January 7, 2010 - 11:08 pm
@candle3k yea thats true cuz its harder with all wheels going at the same time
#16 by candle3k on January 7, 2010 - 11:48 pm
@FERRARI1496 not as well though. granted yes it will drift but it’s AWD, you can’t counter steer, and it’s not going to stay drifting long.

@unclesara I never said a car costs half a million dollars because of y rated tires. I said tires do. and they’re a special size too. you aren’t going to find ferrari size tires at your local shop, they probably won’t have them for one, and two, mounting them has to be done with extreme precision. if it’s even a 1/16 off balance it’ll vibrate. at over 100 mph

well DER it’s wet track
#19 by MotiveDVD on January 8, 2010 - 1:42 am
in the wet isn’t drifting
#20 by ThePhiltastic on January 8, 2010 - 2:19 am
not really drifting, more sliding.

Your can get Y rated Michelin’s at any Wal-Mart for $150. Not that you would find them on an exotic …but good tires doesn’t make a Lambo cost half a million bucks. Snob appeal does. A Vette can do 200mph just as well, and for a fraction of the price. Exotic manufacturers are just selling a ticket to a elitist snob club, a status symbol to flaunt ego, it just happens to be in the shape of a car.
